YOKOHAMA Hot Rod Custom Show 2007

My best italian friend Gianluca was at the Yokohama Show and he kindly let me use these pictures.

As most other shows the real bikes are on the outside, here are some visitors bikes....

From a couple of the pictures you can see how the japanese guys can built a great looking chopper using a swingarm frame, you don't see that often elsewhere........

Once again thanx to Gianluca.

Sune's knucklehead chopper

Now this is a bike, that I have wanted to post pictures of, for a long time. It belongs to my good friend Stefan Sune from Gothenburg, Sweden.

Stefan and his wife Carina owns several bikes and customs cars, this one is for sure a pleasure to watch.

The bike has every chopper part you can think of. I will try to name it all, but will possibly forget something. Here goes: I-beam springer, Bates headlight, Flanders handlebar, Hummer gastank, Aee aircleaner, VL brakepedal, Andersson footpegs, Jammer ribbed kick-cover, ribbed Bates seat and pad, Bte rearlight, CMS alu kickpedal, ribbed oilfilter, B&H shifter, Imperial ribbed trans-cover and to finish it all up a beautiful scalloped paintjob with red rims.

Cool, more cool, THE COOLEST......

Trustful Panhead....

My good friend Stefan Grønquist from Skøvde, Sweden is really into knuckleheads. He has about a handful or more of them, he has originals, bobber, chopper, stroker you name it, but he also has this Panhead chopper.

The panhead has run all over Europe on vacations and rallys.

Stefan told me, the bike came around because he bought the seat at a swapmeet, then built and fitted everything else to that.........

You can find a link to Stefan's company "caStinGs" on these pages, also tjeck out events for the pre ´65 swapmeet that he puts together...

Crashed and Rebuilt Knuckle

Stian Gundersen, from just outside of Oslo, Norway sent these pictures.

Stian crashed his bike back in 2006. Take a look at this pix, it really gives me the chills.

After the crash the bike was rebuilt to this beautiful classic 1947 knucklehead bobber.

Stian let me in on a little secret. This winter he is doing some changes, a hummer gastank, B&H shifter and Andersson pegs are ready to on the bike.

I really hope that Stian will send pictures of the new slim look, for all of us to enjoy......
