Uddevalla Old Style Weekend ´07

Every hepcat and kitten in Scandinavia and northern Europe knows of the Uddevalla Old Style Weekend. The weekend is much like Hemsby. It is all about cool cars, good looking motorcycles and rock-a-billy music. All vehicles are american pre 1956 and has to be either original or period correct custom, that means no disc brakes and stuff. Here are some motorcycle pictures from Hans Nørremark in Videbæk. Hans´ a friend of mine, who is into the original in every detail and absolut perfection.

It is not often you see this many old harleys and indians in one place.

Also at Uddevalla there is a Hill Climb competition on Saturday.

Here Per Leis in full throttle action.....Per rides that knuckle-stroker like there is no tomorrow.

ChopperDaves Blog

Everybody into bobbers and choppers know the CHOPPERDAVES.COM web-site. It was one of the first sites with the stuff we all like, and I was very proud and honoured when Dave put up some of my pictures on the site, for the whole chopper world to see.

Now Dave has decided to retire the site, but has gathered all of his internet activity, and the old site as archive, on one site:

www.chopperdaves.blogspot.com

here you can enjoy regular updates, with lots of cool picturtes, and everything else Dave has to offer, fx. his casting company "LOUD FAST RULES". tjeck it out !!!!

Ooh yeeaah, Dave is one of my heroes...

Panstock Rally

Dan sent me these pictures, taken at the annual PanStock Rally in New Jersey, USA.

Panhead bobber, springerfork with handlebar in dogbone risers, 21" front and 16" rear and a flame paintjob - what could be more classic...

If you have pictures from a similar event near you, please send them to me and I will post them right away.

Bates seat...

The Bates seat is a real beauty. It was, an still is, used on both bobbers and chopper. You can get them in different sizes and colour, the most common is black or white in plain, sometimes ribbed, but other colours as green, red and yellow were avaible. Beware: there are a lot of cheap copies for sale, the real thing is of course a lot more expencive but well worth the money, I think.

Black ribbed Bates seat, probably the most popular one.

Restoration object...

Now here is one for those of you, that is not afraid of a challenge. The bike, or what is left, was for sale on Ebay. You can say this one is OEM, almost NOS and has lots of patina.

Who knows, maybe there is even a sidecar somewhere....

Green Pan

As promissed earlier on, here the picture of the panhead owned by Dan in New Yersey. Dan is the guy with the ´45 knuckle featured as the "weird motor" because of a funny looking picture made years ago.

looking classic and very reliable.

Beautiful, clean and very cool looking bike.

Kenta's fantastic flathead

Here is a bike that really stands out. This is not your everyday bike, it has so many cool features, all the right parts and just well balanced and well built all the way. Bike belongs to Kenta, also a Sinners member from Sweden.

Some very cool looking exhaust pipes. Notice how both the brake and clutch pedal is cut out to loose weight.

Hippie Taillights

Cool taillights from the time when bikers went from grass to methamphetamine. Perfect and period correct, for that flaked and chromed sixties chopper.
